APUNA® Pectin

Pectins have a positive effect on the gastrointestinal tract of pets. They are not broken down by the animals’ own enzymes and are therefore available as a substrate for the bacterial community in the large intestine. Furthermore, they enhance the viscosity of the chyme, which is especially beneficial in cases of high passage rates, and safeguard the mucous membranes.

APUNA® is a product group comprising various pectins, e.g., high- and low-esterified pectins, but also customized pectin blends.
